Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, simply email (help@blueberrypediatrics) or text (754-702-7256) our customer support line and include your account’s email. You’ll receive a response within 24 hours (usually much less). Our customer support will ask why you’re requesting a refund, but will not block your refund.
How does Blueberry process refunds?
We will refund the appropriate charges back to the card used to process the original payment. We are unable to provide a refund in any other manner.
When will the refund appear after I request one?
We will send you a receipt with confirmation of your refund once we have started the process. Refunds to your card typically occur within 2-4 business days.
What charges are eligible for refund?
Membership fees that are charged 30 days prior to a refund request, along with future membership months (for example, if you paid for an annual membership), are eligible for refunds. Enrollment fees and kit fees are not eligible for refunds. If promotional items (like forehead thermometers) were provided, these devices may be deducted from your refundable amount (typically $15).
What happens if I’ve paid for an annual membership?
If you’ve paid for an annual membership, you are eligible to be refunded any unused months as well as the month prior to your request for a refund. However, any used months will be charged as if they were 1-month memberships. This is because the annual membership discount is provided under the assumption that a family would stay a member for the entire year.
For example, if you requested a refund after 3 months, the first 2 months are not refundable, and your annual membership would be refunded the original amount minus the first 2 months.
What happens to my Blueberry account after my refund?
Refunds are considered account cancellations - when issuing a refund, we will cancel your account immediately. You’ll still have access to any medical records and can download them to be shared with other medical professionals, but you will not be able to contact our pediatricians.
If you decide to rejoin Blueberry, you will be charged a re-enrollment fee of $50, and will not be eligible for any promotions or discounts. Exceptions can be made for specific circumstances, and is up to the discretion of our customer support team.

How much does Blueberry cost?

How many children are included in a Blueberry membership?
Your Blueberry membership covers all of the children in your household where you are their legal guardian - no matter how many children you have, there are no additional fees.

I have insurance, is Blueberry still a good option for my family?
Absolutely! Most families use Blueberry in addition to their insurance (and we recommend it). Even with good insurance, Blueberry can save families hundreds in copays and fees.
My insurance already has telemedicine, should I still join Blueberry?
Telemedicine has been added to many insurance plans over the last 2 years. However when it comes to pediatric care, there are a lot of issues that make Blueberry a better option:
Telemedicine visits with insurance often have high copays involved, which you can avoid with a Blueberry membership (some telemedicine visits can cost up to $150 if you haven't hit your deductible).
Your insurance company's telemedicine may not be able to treat a lot of childhood illnesses (for example, ear infections) because they don't hire board-certified Pediatricians to provide care and don't use at-home medical devices. You'll end up paying for both the telemedicine visit
an urgent care visit afterwards.
Your insurance company's telemedicine provider may still have long waits (1-2 hours) or may not even be available 24/7. Blueberry allows you to quickly text Board-Certified Pediatricians and get care 24/7 within 1 hour guaranteed.
Many families try Blueberry and find that not only provides better peace of mind, but also saves them money compared to their insurance company's telemedicine option.
Are there any copays or surprise fees when I talk to pediatricians?
Nope! Once a Blueberry member there are no copays or surprise fees - use Blueberry as often as you'd like (even if you just need to confirm nothing's wrong).
Can Blueberry write school notes or absence notes?
Yes! After your child is seen by one of our Pediatricians, we are able to write doctors notes and absence notes as medically appropriate.
Can I cancel my Blueberry membership?
While we would be sad to see you go, you can easily cancel your membership online at any time via your account page. There are no complicated hoops to jump through or phone calls you have to make.
Can Blueberry prescribe medications like antibiotics?
Yes, when deemed medically necessary Blueberry Pediatricians are able to write prescriptions and send them to your pharmacy of choice.
If your child has a Medicaid-based health insurance plan, it may not cover the cost of prescriptions from our doctors. This is because Medicaid only covers prescriptions from "in-network" physicians.
Florida and Illinois Medicaid plans will cover the cost of prescriptions from our doctors.

Blueberry is not a replacement for your primary care provider. We recommend you go to your child’s PCP for:
Wellness visits & school/sport physicals
Chronic condition management
Illnesses or issues requiring bloodwork or x-rays
Illnesses requiring stool samples
* In order to treat ear infections, Blueberry's Pediatricians require video of your child's ear drums. Our home medical kit includes a smart earscope which can be used to record these videos. Note that we may not be able to treat ear infections until your kit arrives.
** If Blueberry Pediatricians suspect a UTI, they will order urine culture labs. The results return in 24 hours, which will then be used to treat UTIs. Blueberry can provide up to 90% discounts for these labs.
*** Blueberry Pediatricians will treat strep if an at-home rapid strep test is positive. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get recommendations on at-home rapid strep tests.
**** Blueberry Pediatricians will treat flu if an at-home rapid flu test is positive. Contact email@example.com to get recommendations on at-home rapid flu tests.
