Founder's Story

At Blueberry Pediatrics, our story starts with two tech innovators and two doctors coming together with a big idea: to make parenting a little easier and healthcare a lot better. Two of our founders were early at Microsoft and Google, and two are physicians, including Dr. Lyndsey Garbi, a pediatrician and neonatologist who’s been on the front lines of pediatric care. Mission/Vision

Dr. Garbi and the team saw firsthand how challenging it can be for parents to navigate a healthcare system that’s often slow, expensive, and not exactly user-friendly. They imagined something different—a way to use their combined experiences from world-class tech companies and pediatric medicine to deliver expert care that fits into parents' busy lives.

Blueberry Pediatrics was born from this vision: to bring expert pediatric support directly into homes, right when families need it. No more waiting rooms or late-night Googling for answers; just trusted pediatricians available 24/7 to guide you through fevers, rashes, and everything in between.

401k match!

At Blueberry, we match 100% of your contributions up to 3% of your salary. We match 50% of your contributions from 4-5% of your salary.

99% employer-paid base medical plan!

We have two medical plans to meet the needs of our team members. Our base plan is 99% paid for by Blueberry. You can upgrade your plan for a lower deductible/OOP max and you will only pay the difference in premiums from the 99% paid for base plan and this buy-up plan. Vision/Dental are both covered at 99%.

4 weeks PTO!

And we want you to use it too! This is a marathon, not a sprint. We can’t expect you to give it your all at work if you don’t take moments throughout your journey here to recharge and make meaningful memories with your friends/family! PTO will accrue once you start and accrues at a rate of 4 weeks per year. Unused PTO will roll over YoY.

12 weeks paid parental leave!

Our whole mission is designed to support parents/families. Why wouldn’t we extend that same support to our own team members? Ask for more info about the details of our parental leave policy.

Free Blueberry membership!

We offer free access to Blueberry’s platform so that you too can experience the relief that comes from having a network of amazing pediatricians looking out for your kids when in need!

$300 remote office stipend!

We’re a fully remote company! That’s a benefit in of itself! We want to make sure you have what you need to be successful. That’s why we offer a stipend of up to $300 when you start to spend on any office equipment that will help you perform your role. (Part time employees are eligible for up $150 to spend on remote office enhancements)

Annual Offsites

Being fully remote can be challenging! It can be hard to build bonds with the people you work with each day. We understand and act on the role that real life connections play in our ability to build/maintain strong relationships with one another. Each year we come together in person, learn together, celebrate milestones, and have fun!

We’ve partnered with Previ to help you save more money from your hard earned paychecks. Through Previ, you can save money on your phone plans and your home/auto insurance plans! Ask us for more info.

License reimbursement

For Physicians

If you are a physician working either part time (80 hrs/month) or full time (160 hrs/month), Blueberry will help reimburse a portion of your medical licenses! Ask us how it works!

CME medical education

For Physicians

As a part time or full time physician, if your medical license requires specific CME courses for renewal, we’ll cover the cost!
