Dr. Mumtaj Chand is a board-certified Pediatrician, earning her medical degree at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completing her Pediatrics residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Chand has over six years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and particularly loves taking care of newborns. She feels privileged to be a pediatrician and strives to provide the highest quality evidence-based care to her patients. She is passionate about empowering children and families to lead healthy lives, with a special interest in Nutrition and Obesity prevention. Some of Dr. Chand’s pastime activities include spending time with family including her husband and daughter as well as traveling, discovering new restaurants, taking walks, and practicing meditation and prayer.
